2 years agoCharlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) had some preliminary x-rays done after exiting their game on Monday night and was found to have a fractured right ankle. While many people predicted that he would miss the rest of the season, that wasn't official until now. According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, Ball will not be returning this year. He had multiple left ankle sprains, but this injury is in the opposite ankle. Dennis Smith Jr. should be an instant add from any waiver wire while Kelly Oubre Jr. will likely see more usage like he did at the beginning of the year.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
