Christopher Bell was on the pole for the start of the Pala Casino 400 from Fontana, Calif., after practice and qualifying was washed (and snowed) out, but he failed to take advantage. Bell only led the first lap from the premiere position and he was caught up in the Stage 2 restart stack-up that eliminated four other drivers in the accident. Bell finished 32nd in the race after completing only 88 of the 200 laps at Auto Club Speedway. Bell will look to bounce back at Las Vegas next weekend at a track where he has had his share of struggles over the years en route to an average finish of 22nd over the last six races.--Eric DeWilde
