2 years agoChristopher Bell will be on the pole Sunday afternoon for the Pala Casino 400 from Auto Club Speedway. Bell nearly won the Daytona 500 last week but came up just short. His reward is a much better starting position for Fontana. The No. 20 car has had engine failure issues his first two trips to the two-mile track. Durability of the tires and again the engine may be a bit less of an issue with cooler conditions Sunday. However, they cannot be ruled out.
