Ricky Stenhouse Jr. May Slide Back At Fontana
2 years agoRicky Stenhouse Jr. stunned the NASCAR world by winning the Daytona 500 last week. He led the lap that counted at the time the race stopped. When the switch flipped, Stenhouse and his JTG Daugherty Racing car were number one. This week, the No. 47 Chevy figures to have a more challenging time at Fontana. Now, could Stenhouse Jr. surprise again? He did finish 5th in 2016 and tenth in 2022. Was his 91.1 driver rating a fluke last year? Can Stenhouse Jr. race with the Kyle Larson's and Hendrick cars here? That answer is likely no but a good result is still possible. Starting second on Sunday is a boost.
