2 years agoAustin Cindric does not get the luxury of starting from the pole like last year at Fontana on Sunday. The Team Penske driver begins 19th this time around. Last year, the No. 2 Ford was able to parlay that top spot into a 12th-place finish. What did Cindric learn from last year? That is an excellent question. His -14 pass differential was a product of not having as fast of a car while being near the front. Early on, he did set one fastest lap in the clean air though. His teammate, Joey Logano, is a good teacher and performer on this track. That might rub off on Sunday.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
