Alec Ingold Expects Tua Tagovailoa To Be Healthy In 2023
2 years agoMiami Dolphins fullback Alec Ingold said on ESPN's Adam Schefter's podcast that he expects quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) to be back healthy in 2023. Ingold also said that Tagovailoa will be taking Judo classes in the offseason in order to learn how to fall better to prevent injuries like the ones that led to two concussions during the 2022 season. Tagovailoa is expected to be deliberate and determined about his comeback in 2023 after playing in only 13 games last season for the second year in a row due to injuries. The 24-year-old had his best NFL campaign in his third season, throwing for 3,548 yards, 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions. His 8.9 yard-per-attempt average and 13.7 yards per completion led the league. If he can stay healthy, Tagovailoa should have some QB1 appeal in the right matchups in 2023.
