DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 2/21/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 2/21/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

We have another dozen games going on in our college basketball slates on DraftKings today. Welcome, all of you NBA degenerates! You're about to see why college is better than the pros when it comes to DFS! The early bird features Xavier hosting Villanova. The real action starts at 7 pm with Missouri hosting Mississippi State in a game that both need. Tennessee heads down to A&M for a tune-up. The Bees head up to Pitt to take on the Panthers. We have Miami hunting Hokies in western Virginia. Baylor heads up to the Little Apple to take on K-State.

We have to wait an hour and a half for the next tip, but it will be worth it as Marquette heads to the Birdcage in Omaha to take on Creighton. A half-hour later, we have the Dawgs in Hog Heaven in Fayetteville. Indiana heads to East Lansing to take on Sparty. Iowa State heads down to Austin to hook the Horns. Texas Tech heads over to Norman to take on the Sooners in a battle for last in the Big 12(10). We end this with Colorado State heading to San Diego for some sun and Aztecs. This is going to be another fun one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/21/23, starting at 6:30 pm Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Markquis Nowell, Kansas State ($9,100)

Nowell is still putting up numbers in the 30s, but he's not approaching the astronomical numbers that he had in early January. One of those monsters was against Baylor in Waco. Inefficient shooting has been part of the problem for Nowell of late, but the shots have still been there. His upside is still very high since he is a better shooter than he has been of late. He's not likely to top 50 against Baylor again, but even if he makes just three more shots than the last few games, he'll clear 40.

Isaiah Stevens, Colorado State ($7,800)

We don't usually see the Rams in DFS circles, so we need to take advantage of it while we can. Stevens plays big minutes (he has only played under 36 minutes once since December 11) and puts up big numbers to go with it. He hasn't scored less than 15 points since the New Mexico game on December 28 and his assist numbers have improved in conference play as well. He racked up 46.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting with the Aztecs despite an off night from the floor. Stevens has as much upside as anyone else on the slate.

Pop Isaacs, Texas Tech ($6,000)

Isaacs made his return from an ankle injury over the weekend after missing three weeks and went for 21.5 DraftKings points in 29 minutes against West Virginia. Isaacs was more efficient from the field than usual but didn't put up quite the peripheral numbers that he was before the injury. You can blame that on a few fewer minutes or the Red Raiders learning to play without him, but at any rate, I expect Isaacs to be even better in his second game back. If he continues to shoot efficiently, he has nice upside for the price.

Milos Uzan, Oklahoma ($4,300)

The freshman has been off and on in his debut season, but he played the entire game against Texas and put up 26.5 DraftKings points. Uzan shot the ball well, was aggressive on defense, and played the best game of his collegiate career. I'll take the shot on 40 minutes from a freshman with upside over a volume shooter off the bench that plays about half the game any time. Uzan just keeps getting better and his price hasn't reflected it yet.

Also consider: Wade Taylor IV, Texas A&M ($8,500); Anthony Black, Arkansas ($8,100); Adam Flagler, Baylor ($7,900); Nijel Pack, Miami ($7,500); De'Vion Harmon, Texas Tech ($7,200); Tamin Lipsey, Iowa State ($6,700); Sir'Jabari Rice, Texas ($6,600); Dallan Coleman, Georgia Tech ($5,200); Otega Oweh, Oklahoma ($4,800); Jahmai Mashack, Tennessee ($4,200); Joe Bamisile, Oklahoma ($4,100)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana ($11,800)

TJD has been the best player in college basketball for over two months now. Only Penn State has held him under 45 DraftKings points in a game since Christmas. He ravaged Michigan State for a staggering 65.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting. TJD has four consecutive double-doubles and has only missed the mark thrice since Christmas. He's the surest thing in the college game right now as far as DFS output goes.

Ja'von Franklin, Georgia Tech ($7,900)

Franklin has been a double-double machine of late. He has three straight and has only missed the mark by three total rebounds over his last five games. Since joining the starting lineup on February 1, Franklin has at least 34 DraftKings points in every game, topping 40 in four of the last five. He feels underpriced, even against a good Pitt front.

Aljaz Kunc, Iowa State ($6,200)

It took Kunc a few games to get back up to his normal allotment of minutes, but since he has, he has picked up his scoring back to the double digits that we're accustomed to. He's still cheap enough to take a flier on against Texas while he's scoring at this rate. He has 50 points in the last three games alone and his rebound numbers are picking up as well.

Miller Kopp, Indiana ($4,500)

Lost in the juggernaut that is Trayce Jackson-Davis is the emergence of Race Thompson and Kopp in the Indiana frontcourt. Kopp is a sharpshooter that isn't always sharp, so there is some risk involved. That said, he plays big minutes and if he's making shots, the Hoosiers will feed him. The upside is there just from the peripherals that he can put up in 30 minutes. A good shooting game can put him way over the top.

Also consider: Grant Basile, Virginia Tech ($8,500); Tolu Smith, Mississippi State ($8,000); Eric Dixon, Villanova ($7,600); Fardaws Aimaq, Texas Tech ($7,200); Jalen Hill, Oklahoma ($6,500); Braelon Bridges, Georgia ($5,700); Race Thompson, Indiana ($5,400); Jonathan Tchamwa-Tchatchoua, Baylor ($5,100); Mohamed Diarra, Missouri ($4,500); Jalen Graham, Arkansas ($4,100)
