Wide receiver DeSean Jackson has spent time with six different NFL franchises, most recently with the Baltimore Ravens during the 2022 season. The 36-year-old former Pro Bowler was once one of the fastest and most dynamic players in the league, but his time could be coming to an end.
Durability issues have popped up often over the last half-decade, so Jackson will have the decision to make this offseason.
How did Jackson perform in 2022 and will he retire during the 2023 offseason? Let's dive in.

DeSean Jackson 2022 Season Review
Baltimore signed Jackson on October 18 and played his first game in Week 9. On the season, Jackson appeared in seven games, catching nine passes for 153 yards and no touchdowns.
He went back and forth between the team's practice squad and active roster while dealing with hamstring issues and was eventually released on Jan. 7, just a week before the Ravens' loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the Wild Card Round.
Ultimately, Jackson still had some juice and was surprisingly still fast, but with age and injuries, his role as a full-time wideout has come to an end.
Will DeSean Jackson Retire this Offseason?
As of now, there are no updates on Jackson's future. However, we can say with confidence that he'll never be a true difference-maker for a team or a real fantasy football option moving forward. He could be interested in joining a team in the middle of the year again, but that's his most likely path to continuing his playing career.
If or when potential updates on his future come out, we'll be sure to pass them along. For now, there's no reason to speculate since he likely won't be on an NFL team's radar for a while if at all.
Jackson has posted north of 11,000 receiving yards in his career and will go down as one of the most fun players to watch, but there's a chance he's played his last snap in the NFL.
