It's a light Thursday night with just three games on the docket as we head into the All-Star break. the Bucks head down I-94 to Chicago to play the Bulls. The Wizards are in Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves. We end out west with the Clippers heading over to Phoenix to face the Suns.
With both FanDuel and DraftKings having multi-position eligibility players, we'll have to attack slates accordingly to make our lineups as optimal as possible. That's where I come in! I'll look to find my personal top plays and values for tonight's slate. Things can change during the day as well, so I'll do my best to update as news comes out!
Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 2/16/23. Keep an eye on RotoBaller’s NBA injury news and also our full NBA injury report today to stay up to date before lineups are locked.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Chris Paul - vs. LAC (FD: $8,500, DK: $8,000)
Devin Booker is back, but he hasn't played 30 minutes in a game yet and likely won't tonight either. Landry Shamet, Cameron Payne, and the newly acquired Kevin Durant are all out as well. That leaves limited Booker time (in which he has performed well, but not well enough to pay that price for him) and Paul as the only options besides Ayton. CP3 has 136.5 DraftKings points in the three games since Booker's return, so he is still getting good numbers. Good enough to pay this price for him.
Bradley Beal - at MIN (FD: $9,300, DK: $7,700)
This is more of a DK-only play. If I'm spending that on FD, I'll pay the $100 more for Anthony Edwards on the other side of this one. Beal is still an elite volume shooter who hasn't shot under 46% from the floor since January 28. Beal has decent peripheral numbers, but let's face it: we're using him for the elite scoring. He's not going to hit value on peripherals alone. I'm here for the volume. That's a hell of a deal on DK for the price.
Mike Conley - vs. WAS (FD: $6,200, DK: $5,200)
Conley's first game in Minnesota left a lot to be desired, but his second one should be more indicative of what we can expect. He put up 12 points and nine assists, which is a solid stat line. He should start netting a few double-double bonuses on DK in the near future. He's not going to break a slate, but Conley is going to get every opportunity to lead this team. He's a strong mid-range play on a small slate.
Also consider: Devin Booker (FD: $9,500, DK $8,900); Jrue Holiday (FD: $8,000, DK $7,500); Terance Mann (FD: $5,100, DK: $4,600)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Giannis Antetokounmpo - at CHI (FD: $12,500, DK: $12,700)
Giannis's knee is still bugging him. And he is still putting up massive stat lines. Portland was the only team to hold Giannis under 5x value since January 25. I use that term loosely because Giannis played just 23 minutes due to foul trouble and the lopsided win. He has two huge games against the Bulls already this year. Are you going to bet against a third?
Kyle Kuzma - at MIN (FD: $7,700, DK: $7,900)
Kuzma returned from a four-game absence and dumped in 33 points and nine rebounds against the Blazers. This is another great spot for Kuzma against a Minnesota team that often looks disassociated on defense. I have seen Kuzma fail in great spots too many times to count, but I'm not doing my job if I don't at least mention him. I usually run multiple lines and will have some exposure to Kuzma just in case.
Khris Middleton - at CHI (FD: $6,000, DK: $5,500)
The Bucks still haven't run Middleton for more than 25 minutes, but he has at least 25 DraftKings points in every game since the Bucks upped his minutes to 20 at the end of January. He's a low-risk value play with solid upside, but he's not going to break the slate on a minutes limit. Middleton has played 25 minutes in each of the last two games and has 72 DraftKings points in those 50 minutes.
Also consider: Kawhi Leonard (FD: $10,200, DK: $9,100), Paul George (FD: $8,600, DK: $8,500), Josh Okogie (FD: $5,600, DK $4,900)
DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Kristaps Porzingis - at MIN (FD: $9,100, DK: $9,200)
Yes, I am still so scarred by Porzingis that I don't fully trust his recent surge. He has four straight games over 40 fantasy points and has scored 62 actual points in the last two games alone. This is another superb matchup against the KAT-less Wolves. I honestly don't mind a game stack of this game on the small slate. That can be a way to get different if you're willing to run it without Edwards.
Daniel Gafford - at MIN (FD: $6,000, DK: $5,000)
Gafford still logs a ton of minutes at center and the Timberwolves are without KAT and might be without Gobert. If Gobert is out, we run Naz Reid without thinking twice. If he's in, it's an easy pivot to Gafford, who is coming off an atrocious game against Portland in which he committed five fouls in just 15 minutes. That's not likely to happen again. We should see decreased ownership on Gafford because of that gaffe. Let's capitalize on it!
Also consider: Deandre Ayton (FD: $9,000, DK: $8,300); Brook Lopez (FD: $7,200, DK: $6,100)
