Eagles Defense Fails To Record A Sack In Super Bowl Loss
2 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles defense yielded 32 points and forced a fumble but failed to recover it during the team's 38-35 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII. After an amazing season where the team finished with only four sacks fewer than the 1984 Chicago Bears, the Eagles defense struggled against quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs' elite offense. The team's defense scored six of Kansas City's points on a fumble recovery touchdown. More than a few starters are set to leave Philadelphia via free agency this offseason, and they may be losing their defensive coordinator. However, there is still plenty of star power left on the roster to make the Eagles' defense one of the better options to take in drafts this upcoming August.
