Miles Sanders Gains Just 16 Yards During Super Bowl Loss
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders took seven carries for 16 yards during the team's 38-35 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs during Super Bowl LVII. It was a terrible end to a career year for the 25-year-old, as he was given the same amount of carries as backup Kenneth Gainwell, who not only outproduced him but looked like the more explosive player over the final month of the regular season. With an extension for quarterback Jalen Hurts being the top priority for Philadelphia this offseason and Sanders set to be a free agent, it is tough to see the Penn State alum back in Eagles green next season unless he comes back on a team-friendly deal. Sanders was a solid RB2 for fantasy purposes this past season and one of the steals of the draft, but determining his true fantasy value for the 2023 regular season will have to wait until we find out where he will be playing.
