Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins was a second-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
As a rookie, the former Clemson star had 908 receiving yards and six touchdowns despite Joe Burrow missing six games with a torn ACL. Higgins has turned into a star since his rookie season.
Over the past two years, the former second-round pick had back-to-back seasons with 74 receptions for over 1,000 receiving yards and at least six touchdowns. Last year Higgins caught a career-high 67.9% of his targets.

Will The Bengals Sign Tee Higgins To An Extension?
Higgins has been in trade rumors lately as he is heading into the final year of his rookie contract. With Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase eligible for massive extensions over the next two years, the Bengals need to get creative with the salary cap.
Despite the trade rumors, Higgins had made it clear that he wants to remain with Cincinnati.
While the money will need to get figured out, fans should expect the former Clemson star back with the Bengals next season.
Which Teams Could Trade For Tee Higgins?
However, never say never. Last year the Tennessee Titans and A.J. Brown were working towards a long-term deal. Yet, the team traded him to the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2022 NFL Draft after negotiations broke down. If the Bengals and Higgins can’t agree on the money, the third-year receiver could be on his way out the door.
If the Bengals trade Higgins, they will have plenty of trade partners. At the top of the list are the New York Giants.
Despite all the injuries to their wide receiver core, the Giants made the playoffs in 2022. While Wan’Dale Robinson and Isaiah Hodgins are solid young pieces, neither is a No. 1 caliber wide receiver. For Daniel Jones to take the next step in his development, he will need a true alpha receiver like Higgins.
Another potential landing spot is the Chicago Bears. While they added Chase Claypool at the trade deadline, Chicago could use more help at wide receiver. If the Bears trade out of the No. 1 draft slot and acquire multiple picks, don’t be surprised to see them flip a couple to Cincinnati for the star receiver.
