Geno Smith Named Comeback Player Of The Year
2 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith won what was seemingly a neck-and-neck contest with Saquon Barkley to capture the Comeback Player of the Year award after leading his team back to the playoffs. This season, Smith put up 4,282 passing yards on 399-for-572 with 30 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The last time he started more than three games in a season was back in 2014 with the New York Jets, when he had a record of 3-10. The 32-year-old will look to build on that next year with a solid receiving corps and an improving backfield if he and the Seahawks can work out a new deal this offseason.
