Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire has not played since Week 11 after landing on Injured Reserve, but there looks to be a chance he returns for Super Bowl 57 against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
CEH's role was diminished by the time he got injured, but with Andy Reid's team on a bye week, you never know who could suddenly see important touches in the big game. His availability could simply hurt the upside of running backs Jerick McKinnon and Isiah Pacheco, or it could do nothing at all.
Is Edwards-Helaire playing in the Super Bowl and what is his potential DFS outlook? Let's dive in.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire Injury Update for Fantasy Football
The Chiefs activated Edwards-Helaire (ankle) from Injured Reserve on Monday, so he will be active for the Super Bowl against the Eagles on Sunday. It will be interesting to see how much the 23-year-old practices this week, and that could give us more of a sense of how much he might actually play, but for now, it's up in the air.
Either way, his availability has a chance to throw a curveball in DFS contests.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire Super Bowl Fantasy Outlook
While Edwards-Helaire likely won't be a heavy factor in the Chiefs' offensive attack, it'd be silly to completely dismiss the possibility he could get some red zone work. Again, head coach Andy Reid can be completely unpredictable, so any Chiefs player can be thrust into a surprising role, even with everything on the line. In a single-game tournament, one short touchdown is often all a player needs to be on a top-performing lineup.
Edwards-Helaire is just $1,000 on DraftKings, making him the 29th-most expensive DFS asset on the single-game slate. For DFS gamers who make just a couple of lineups, he's an easy stay-away, but for volume DFS drafter, he might be worth adding on a few teams.
There are plenty of budget-breaking players like Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, and Travis Kelce on the slate, so an Edwards-Helaire dart throw isn't a bad idea in GPP formats. Ultimately, a big part of DFS is taking risks and trying to differentiate lineups, so CEH could be the ingredient to accomplish that.
