Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster was banged-up in the AFC Championship win over the Cincinnati Bengals and although there's plenty of time before the Super Bowl kicks off, it's never too early to take a look at his latest injury update.
Smith-Schuster finished only behind Travis Kelce in targets (101), receptions (78), and yards (933) among Chiefs' pass-catchers, but his production has been down over the past month-plus. That said, he'll inevitably be a DFS consideration if active on Super Bowl Sunday.
Will Smith-Schuster be ready to go for the championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles? Let's take a look.

JuJu Smith-Schuster Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Smith-Schuster suffered a knee injury in Sunday's AFC Championship Game. He finished the game with just one catch for seven yards, marking his fifth consecutive game with fewer than 35 receiving yards.
While we likely won't hear much on the injury front this week, a knee injury is certainly concerning, so fantasy managers and DSFers should check back often to see if there is new news on the former Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Bowler.
JuJu Smith-Schuster Super Bowl Fantasy Outlook
While Smith-Schuster is in the midst of a slump, he's still worth considering in DFS tournaments should he play next week. In his last full game in the AFC Divisional Round, Smith-Schuster ran a route on 87 percent of the Chiefs' passing plays. The next-closest wide receiver was Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who ran routes on 67 percent of passing plays.
Ultimately, Smith-Schuster likely would've posted 1,000 yards had he not suffered a concussion that caused him to miss a game and a half and has by far the best resume of any Chiefs' wide receiver. He had 282 slot snaps during the regular season (22nd-most), which is the one pass-catching position the Eagles have struggled against.
With big names like Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, and Travis Kelce on the slate, DFSers will be forced to play riskier and less expensive players. JuJu could be the right guy to play in Super Bowl 57. It's worth noting Kadarius Toney (ankle) is also banged up, so his availability will affect JuJu's fantasy outlook and vice versa.
