Kenneth Gainwell Tallies 121 Yards, Finds End Zone
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Kenneth Gainwell took 12 carries for 112 yards and a touchdown, adding one reception for nine yards, during the team's 38-7 playoff victory over the New York Giants. The 23-year-old ran well on his limited carries early on in this game, but he took apart the Giants' defense in the final quarter when the game was already out of hand, capping off the Eagles' night with a 36-yard touchdown run with less than two minutes to go. Those who used the second year back as a FLEX option in DFS or playoff lineups were handsomely rewarded. It is tough to imagine Gainwell repeating this performance next week against either Dallas or San Francisco. He did most of his damage in garbage time, and it is not likely the Eagles blowout either opponent as they did New York on Saturday night. Gainwell will be a risky FLEX option next week.
