Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has accomplished plenty in his first five years in the NFL.
The former first-round pick has been a Pro Bowler twice. He was also the league MVP in 2019 while making the Associated Press first-team.
Unfortunately, the superstar has struggled to stay healthy lately. Over the past two years, the former MVP has missed 10 games, sitting out five in both seasons.

Is Lamar Jackson A Free Agent in 2023?
Unless you’ve been living under a rock the past calendar year, you know Jackson and the Ravens have had contract extension talks. Unfortunately, the talks haven’t gone anywhere. The team would like to have the former MVP back next year. However, he is set to be the top free agent this offseason.
After Baltimore signed linebacker Roquan Smith to a five-year extension worth $100 million, the team has the franchise tag available to place on Jackson. If they make that move, the superstar quarterback will not hit the open market. Given what Jackson brings to the team, the Ravens will place the franchise tag on the former MVP and not allow him to become a free agent.
Which Team Will Sign Jackson In The Offseason?
While the former first-round pick won’t hit the free agent market, it’s no guarantee that Jackson plays for the Ravens next season. If contract talks don’t progress, Baltimore could explore trading the former MVP in the offseason.
The Ravens would have countless suitors if they decided to trade Jackson. According to BetOnline, the New England Patriots are the favored team to acquire the quarterback at +400. Behind them are the New York Jets (+450), Atlanta Falcons (+550), and Las Vegas Raiders (+650).
Dynasty fantasy players shouldn’t worry about where Jackson plays next season. He is a superstar player and will succeed regardless of where he plays. However, the Jets would be an appealing fantasy fit.
New York struggled offensively this year with Zach Wilson under center. However, they have an excellent set of young weapons on offense. Garrett Wilson is a favorite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year. Meanwhile, Elijah Moore has flashed potential over his first two years in the league.
If Jackson lands with New York, the former MVP could have another overall QB1 finish in 2023.
