Russell Gage Hospitalized With Concussion
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Russell Gage was carted off in the fourth quarter of the team's loss to the Dallas Cowboys, and head coach Todd Bowles said he was hospitalized with a concussion and potential neck injury. The first-year Buccaneer caught two passes on eight targets before his scary injury, but his season has come to an end, and hopefully, he'll be able to truly recover. Gage caught 51 passes for 426 yards and five touchdowns this season, but the offseason will tell all about the potential value of the Buccaneers' wideouts. Tom Brady might retire or head to a new team for 2023, but Julio Jones likely won't be on the roster, paving way for Gage to have more of a role for whoever his signal-caller will be.
