Jaylen Waddle Struggles In Elimination Game
2 years agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle hauled in three of seven targets for 44 yards during Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Round. Waddle struggled to haul in several catchable passes, so although he played well toward the end of the game, this was ultimately an underwhelming outing from the second-year receiver. With Miami's elimination from the playoffs, Waddle's season is officially over. It was an up-and-down year for the 24-year-old and his fellow pass-catchers who had to deal with inconsistent quarterback play amidst injuries to Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) and Teddy Bridgewater (finger). Assuming Tagovailoa is good to go for 2023, Waddle, who proved that he can co-exist alongside Tyreek Hill, could return to the low-end WR1 tier in fantasy football leagues next season.
