Jeff Wilson Jr. Scores Touchdown In Disappointing Loss
2 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Jeff Wilson Jr. rushed 10 times for 23 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Round. Wilson also hauled in one of four targets for an additional 13 yards through the air. The 27-year-old was inefficient on the ground and not a key factor in the passing game, but he did salvage his outing by finding the end zone. Going forward, Wilson is scheduled to hit free agency in March but could be a candidate to re-sign with the Dolphins. After all, his relationship with head coach Mike McDaniel dates back to their time together in San Francisco. Beyond Wilson, the Dolphins' backfield could also lose Raheem Mostert (unrestricted free agent) and Salvon Ahmed (restricted free agent) in the coming months.
