Salvon Ahmed Gets Involved In Passing Game
2 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Salvon Ahmed turned five targets into three catches for 45 yards during Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Round. He was less productive in the rushing game, totaling just three yards on the ground over the course of five carries. With Miami eliminated from the playoffs, Ahmed's season is over. Going forward, the 24-year-old has earned more touches and figures to compete for a backup role next season, especially with Raheem Mostert (thumb) and Jeff Wilson Jr. both headed for free agency. Ahmed himself will become a restricted free agent in March, meaning the Dolphins could extend a qualifying offer that increases the likelihood of him returning to Miami.
