Lamar Jackson Injury Update
The Baltimore Ravens are set to face the Cincinnati Bengals in the Wild Card round and they'll be doing so without their franchise quarterback. While the Ravens were optimistic he could finally return, they've ruled out Lamar Jackson for Sunday's matchup.
Jackson has been sidelined with a knee injury since Week 13 and the original timeline for his return was a few weeks. But with the former NFL MVP missing a crucial playoff game, there's a chance that Jackson has played his final game for the Ravens already.
In somewhat positive news, Tyler Huntley returned to practice on Friday and is questionable to play on Sunday. Regardless of whether it's Huntley or Anthony Brown under center, it's tough to trust any of Baltimore's pass catchers outside of Mark Andrews versus Cincinnati.
Trevor Lawrence Injury Update
Trevor Lawrence sustained a toe injury in Week 13 against the Detroit Lions and it has continued to linger into the first round of the postseason. Considering that the injury is still affecting him, the Jaguars are officially listing Lawrence as questionable for Saturday's showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers.
The good news for the Jaguars is that Lawrence hasn't missed a game since injuring his toe, so the expectation should be for him to play on Saturday. The toe injury has also seemingly not affected his performance on the field, making it a non-concern entering the weekend.
While he continues to appear on the injury report, everyone should play the skill players of the Jaguars and Lawrence with confidence in DFS or any fantasy football format on Saturday.
Tua Tagovailoa Injury Update
The Miami Dolphins were able to narrowly secure a playoff spot with a win over the New York Jets in Week 18 despite not having Tua Tagovailoa operating the offense. Even though the Dolphins were holding out hope he'd return for the Wild Card round, Tagovailoa has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Buffalo Bills.
Tagovailoa has been in the NFL's concussion protocol multiple times this season after suffering a concussion in Week 16 versus the Green Bay Packers. Besides Tagovailoa, Teddy Bridgewater also isn't ready to start due to a finger injury, so rookie Skylar Thompson is slated to start at quarterback for the Dolphins on Sunday.
Even though Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are talented wide receivers, you may want to temper expectations on what their output will be against the Bills.
