It's quite possibly the best football weekend of the year! We have six incredibly meaningful games and a chance to watch football pretty much straight through from Saturday afternoon til Monday night (with some sleep mixed in there somewhere).
This year, I started my own free sports betting newsletter, and the good people here at RotoBaller are allowing me to share my picks and data with you here in this space! You can access the free substack here and sign up for daily emails in addition to viewing the picks daily here on the RotoBaller website.
In this article, I'll be providing my favorite NFL betting picks for Wild Card weekend of the 2022 NFL season. The odds on these bets vary from book to book and are constantly changing. I primarily use FanDuel and DraftKings sportsbooks, but I would strongly encourage you to shop for the best odds at whatever books you use daily. I would also advise checking back later in the week as I may add bets depending on odds changing or specific props becoming available after I first post.

NFL Betting Picks: Player Props for Wild Card Weekend
Daniel Jones OVER 243.5 passing yards (-115 DK)
The Vikings allowed the fourth-most passing attempts and the second-most passing yards to opponents this season. Jones threw for 334 against the Vikes on a massive 42 attempts back on Christmas Eve and I think the game script sets up where he will have to air it out often again.
Kenneth Walker III UNDER 59.5 rushing yards (-115 DK)
There’s no question that this Niners’ defense is elite against the run, allowing the second-fewest yards per game to opponents (77.7) this season. Walker was limited to 4-10 and 12-47 in the first two meetings of the season and San Francisco will be loading up again to stop him and force Seattle to throw.
Rachaad White UNDER 35.5 rushing yards (-115 DK)
That’s a low number to go under, I realize. But White has seen his rushing attempts dwindle of late and he’s being used more often in the passing game. The Cowboys’ defense is legit and Tampa has struggled to run the ball with any consistency all season. I look for Fournette to handle most of the early down work with White mixing in occasionally, and he’s going to have to break a couple of decent runs to get over this number on such a small number of projected carries.
Travis Etienne Jr. OVER 96.5 rushing + receiving yards (-115 DK)
I’m all in on ETN today and I think he’s primed for a big game. The Chargers were a bottom-five run defense this year and the Jags gashed them on the ground in their first meeting. ETN hadn’t taken over as the lead back yet, so it was James Robinson who had 100 yards on only 17 carries that day, but Travis had 75 total yards from scrimmage on only 16 touches (13 carries, 3 receptions).
I think the Jags feed him the ball 20-25 times today and I think Doug Pederson is going to get it to him in some creative ways on screens or other designed passing plays, too, which is why I am going for his total scrimmage yards here, not just his rushing yards as he could break a big play in the passing game.
Anytime Touchdown Scorers
Stefon Diggs (-120 DK)
Diggs had the fourth-most targets inside the 10-yard line of any receiver this season and Miami allowed the fifth-most passing touchdowns to opponents per game. He failed to score in each of the first two games against Miami this year, but he was heavily targeted and this week he gets in.
T.J. Hockenson (+235 DK)
T.J. scored two of his three Vikings TDs this year against the Giants back in Week 16 and Kirk Cousins has the second-most passing attempts inside the 10-yard line. If he’s going to Jefferson, he’s likely going to be looking T.J.’s way.
Receptions
George Kittle over 3.5 (-160)
Josh Palmer over 4.5 (+130)
Stefon Diggs over 6.5 (+105)
Isaiah Hodgins over 3.5 (-145)
T.J. Hockenson over 4.5 (-130)
CeeDee Lamb over 5.5 (-160)
Hayden Hurst over 3.5 (+100)
