PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, January 10.

Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks

LaMelo Ball OVER 22.5 Points - I'll start off tonight's slate with LaMelo Ball's points prop. Ball has cleared this number in four of five as well as eight of ten and in 13 of 17 games this entire season. So why is the number so low? Most likely because of the elite defense of the Raptors, and OG Anunoby in particular. However, it's not a guarantee that Anunoby lines up against Ball tonight, and my model projects LaMelo for 26.7 points tonight, so we're getting solid value on this number.
Jordan Clarkson OVER 4.0 Assists - I'll take a look at Jordan Clarkson next. We're getting a bunch of "revenge" narratives in tonight's Cavs-Jazz matchup, and while I don't really consider this a "revenge" spot for Clarkson, I think he plays well anyways. Clarkson has been up and down regarding his assists, clearing or pushing this number in just five of his last ten. The Cavs are good at preventing assists, but my model projects Clarkson for 5.7 assists tonight, so we're getting solid value here regardless.
Josh Giddey OVER 22.5 Points + Rebounds - I'll finish things up with Josh Giddey's P+R prop. Giddey has cleared this number in three of five and six of ten. He also put together a 30-point + rebound performance against the Heat back on December 14. My model projects 27.3 points + rebounds tonight for Giddey, who averages 25.33 P+R without Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Aleksej Pokusevski in the lineup.
