Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo missed the end of Sunday's big matchup against Brooklyn with a hand injury, but he doesn't believe that it will keep him out for long. The 2020 All-Star was taken out of the game five minutes from the end of regulation, and he could only watch as the team suffered a painful 102-101 loss in front of home crowd. Adebayo had 10 points and eight rebounds in 28 minutes with two assists and one block. He called the problem a day-to-day injury and noted that he has been carrying it for a while. Orlando Robinson, who had a good game with six points and nine rebounds, is in line for a bigger role if Adebayo has to take some time off to recover.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Miami Heat forward/center Bam Adebayo (back) will rejoin the lineup on Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls. The two-time Olympic champion was unavailable on Monday night against the Philadelphia 76ers due to back spasms. Haywood Highsmith received the starting nod and is likely to move back into the second unit for Wednesday's matchup. The Bulls are weak defensively, and Adebayo has not had any problems exploiting their shortcomings, averaging 22.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in the matchup this season. On Wednesday, Adebayo might have increased offensive usage, as Andrew Wiggins (hamstring) is listed as questionable and may miss another game.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

According to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo (back) is unavailable for Monday's matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers. Adebayo has only missed two games all season, but a back issue will keep him out on Monday. With the big man out of action, 20-year-old center Kel'el Ware could be a DFS option for this evening. The rookie Ware has put together a decent 2024-25 campaign, averaging 9.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 22.0 minutes per contest across 60 games.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo (back) is suffering from back spasms and has been listed as questionable for Monday's contest with the Philadelphia 76ers. The dynamic big man has only missed two games this year, so he has a better chance to play than most when they get a questionable tag. The Heat are also only three games back from the seventh seed, which would make the play-in tournament a lot easier than the tenth seed. If Adebayo is sidelined, Kel'el Ware should be a very popular streaming option and DFS play. The rookie has put together a solid season, and when he receives between 30 to 39 minutes, he averages 15.7 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller

Miami Heat forward/center Bam Adebayo (calf) will play against the Indiana Pacers on Friday. Initially, Adebayo was considered questionable for the game due to a right calf contusion. The Heat big man has delivered some of his best performances of the season against the Pacers. He has averaged 24.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals in the matchup, shooting 57.4 percent from the field, including 50 percent from downtown.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
