Anaheim Ducks forward Mason McTavish put on a show in Friday's matchup against San Jose, leading the team to a 5-4 overtime victory with four points. He became the first player in franchise history to factor on three game-tying goals and the winner. McTavish had two goals and two assists in the contest, which made him the second-youngest Ducks player ever to register four points in a single game. The 19-year-old has made quite an impression since joining the first line this week, logging six points in two games. He has reached 26 points in 40 games for the whole season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Anaheim Ducks center Mason McTavish (upper body) will be sidelined for a sixth consecutive game on Friday against Buffalo. The 21-year-old has rejoined practice and will be re-evaluated on Sunday, so it looks like he is on the cusp of returning. However, Friday's game comes too soon for McTavish, who has recorded eight points (two goals, six assists) in 13 games this season. With McTavish's return, Isac Lundestrom will likely be bumped back to the fourth line. Lundestrom started out well on the third line, scoring a goal in a 4-2 win over Columbus on Nov. 10., but he hasn't added to his points tally since then.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Anaheim Ducks center Mason McTavish (upper body) has been placed on Injured Reserve. The 21-year-old has been out for three games and doesn't appear to be ready to return in the upcoming games. Despite missing time, McTavish remains Anaheim's third-highest scorer this season, with eight points (two goals, six assists) amassed in 13 outings. Isac Lundestrom has seen an uptick in minutes during McTavish's absence, but he's more of a defensive-minded center and doesn't provide anything for fantasy managers. Lundestrom is on three points (two goals, one assist) with 14 games played this campaign.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Anaheim Ducks center Mason McTavish (upper body) is considered day-to-day. He missed his first game of the season on Sunday against Columbus. McTavish was also unavailable for practice on Saturday, and according to Ducks head coach Greg Cronin, the 21-year-old centerman is "dealing with some tightness." Before getting hurt, McTavish had just built up good momentum with a three-game point streak. He has totaled eight points (two goals, six assists) in 13 appearances for the season. Isac Lundestrom has a chance to play a larger role with McTavish out of the lineup. However, he is not a viable fantasy option.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Anaheim Ducks forward Mason McTavish (knee) could be out for the rest of the season. He has missed three games and Anaheim has three more to come. McTavish's performances have made up one of only a few bright spots for the Ducks during a season filled with frustration. The 21-year-old has totaled 42 points (19 goals, 23 assists) in 64 outings. Following a dry spell, McTavish scored in back-to-back games before landing on the shelf at the start of the month.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
