Michael Pittman Jr. Could Struggle In Week 18
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. will have plenty of motivation coming into their Week 18 matchup against the Houston Texans. He is four catches away from having 100 receptions and is 105 yards short of 1,000 receiving yards for the season. While his performance will heavily depend on quarterback Sam Ehlinger's output, the Texans pass defense has been solid of late. They surrender the fourth-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers at 27.51 points per game and are tied for eighth in pass-rush win rate at 43 percent. Ehlinger may not have enough time to throw the ball, given the success of Houston's pressure. In turn, Pittman could see lower production than his Week 17 numbers of 41 receiving yards and a touchdown. DFS managers will probably want to ignore Pittman this week, and he'll be more of a touchdown-dependent WR3/flex in season-long leagues.
