2 years agoMiami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders is gearing up for Week 18 versus the New York Jets. After a strong start, Miami stumbled and now needs a win (plus help from other AFC teams) to secure a playoff berth. However, a glaring obstacle stands in their way: Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) and Teddy Bridgewater (finger) are both sidelined this week. As a result, rookie Skylar Thompson will draw the start at quarterback. With subpar play expected under center, the potential exists for Miami to struggle offensively. As such, Sanders is relatively tricky to trust this coming Sunday. At best, he's a fringe top-12 option, and even then, you might be able to find better choices on the waiver wire.
