Tyreek Hill Slips To Low-End WR1 Tier For Week 18
2 years agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is gearing up for a big Week 18 matchup against the New York Jets. After a strong start, Miami has stumbled and now needs a win (plus help from other AFC teams) to secure a playoff berth. However, a glaring obstacle stands in their way: Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) and Teddy Bridgewater (finger) are both sidelined this week. That means rookie Skylar Thompson will draw the start at quarterback. Not only is this unfavorable for the Dolphins, but it likely drops Hill's fantasy ceiling to the low-end WR1 tier in Week 18 (as opposed to high-end WR1 in previous weeks). Hill has shown that he should still be started in all leagues, but managers might be wise to insert players into their lineup with higher ceilings to counter the effect of a potential subpar outing from the veteran wideout.
