Lonnie Walker IV Set To Miss At Least Next Two Weeks
2 years agoLos Angeles Lakers shooting guard/small forward Lonnie Walker IV (knee) has been sidelined for at least the next two weeks due to left knee tendinitis. L.A. is set to play eight contests in that span, opening minutes on the wing for Juan Toscano-Anderson and Max Christie, among others. Walker has averaged a career-best 14.7 PPG across 32 games (all starts) this season, leaving another offensive void to be filled by the Lakers in the short term. The 24-year-old can be stashed on IR slots where available, with the team expected to provide an update on his status in around two weeks.
