Austin Reaves Will Miss At Least Two Weeks With Injury
2 years agoLos Angeles Lakers shooting guard/small forward Austin Reaves (hamstring) has been shut down for at least two weeks due to a strained left hamstring, at which point the team will re-evaluate his progress. Reaves has played an integral wing role for L.A. this season, averaging 10.8 PPG while shooting 48.8 percent overall. With injuries sweeping the Lakers' depth chart, it may take some time for head coach Darvin Ham to establish a new rotation, but Kendrick Nunn and Max Christie are early candidates to see a bump in playing time. Reaves' extended absence likely pushes him toward the waiver wire in all but the deepest of season-long formats.
