We have another busy Saturday, but that's just the way we like it! 11 games make up the main slate with Notre Dame and North Carolina tipping off from Chapel Hill 30 minutes before everyone else. Noon brings some good ones with Vandy in Columbia to take on Missouri. Nebraska heads up to Minneapolis to take on the Gophers. Creighton heads east to Hartford to take on UConn. The Johnnies make the trek down to Providence to take on the Friars. Texas heads up to Stillwater to finish off the noon tips.
We start the afternoon in the basketball version of the Swamp for the indoor version of the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. How does that work? We have Kentucky in Tuscaloosa. Duke climbs Chestnut Hill to take on Boston College. The Wreck are in Tallahassee to take on the Seminoles. We close this out with the Badgers in Champaign to take on Illinois. We have another good one on tap!
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/7/23, starting at 11:30 am Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards
Matthew Cleveland, Florida State ($8,000)
Cleveland has exploded during the extended absence of Cam'Ron Fletcher. With no timetable for Fletcher's return, we should continue to see Cleveland put up big numbers. He hasn't been under 25 DraftKings points with Fletcher out and he has topped 34 in each of the last four games. The Florida State offense is running through him right now and he is dominating the boards from his guard position. He might have the highest ceiling among guards on this slate.
Devin Carter, Providence ($7,000)
I'm willing to excuse a poor shooting game against Connecticut. They are a really good team and we just need to quit using players against them in DFS. Prior to that game, Carter has at least 37 DraftKings points in three straight, including games against Butler and Marquette. It's looking likely that Jared Bynum will be unavailable for this game, so Carter will have a clear path to another big game.
Miles Kelly, Georgia Tech ($5,900)
That is eight straight games over 20 DraftKings points for Kelly. He might be better suited for cash games since he hasn't touched 30 and six of those are over 25. The ceiling isn't all that high because Kelly is mostly a scorer, but Tech has proven that they'll let him take as many shots as he needs. Kelly is one of the safest value plays out there right now.
Jaden Bradley, Alabama ($5,100)
Bradley continues to play well with Nimari Burnett out. He is averaging 21.5 DraftKings points over the last six games. That includes his poor shooting over the last few games, but Bradley still gets to the stripe and picks up points that way. One of these games, Bradley is going to put the good shooting together with his passing and trips to the line and break the slate. He will probably be in my lineup when he does.
Also consider: Terry Roberts, Georgia ($8,200); Marcus Carr, Texas ($7,800); Chucky Hepburn, Wisconsin ($7,500); Caleb Mills, Florida State ($6,800); Kario Oquendo, Georgia ($6,200); Nick Honor, Missouri ($5,700); Trey Bonham, Florida ($5,400); Jayden Epps, Illlinois ($4,700); Dallan Coleman, Georgia Tech ($3,900)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards
Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky ($10,600)
All he does is post big scores. With the exception of the game against Florida A&M in which Tshiebwe only played 27 minutes, he has at least 40 DraftKings points in every game since December 4. Four of those have topped 46 DraftKings points including three straight. He destroyed the SEC last year and this year should be no different. Tshiebwe remains the premier pay-up spot.
Steven Crowl, Wisconsin ($7,700)
I like this play a lot more if Tyler Wahl's ankle keeps him out. Wahl was unable to practice yesterday, so it's looking more likely that Crowl will pick up more opportunities in this one. If Wahl plays, it's an easy pivot to Ed Croswell, who is $100 less and might even have a higher upside against the Johnnies.
Jacob Toppin, Kentucky ($6,200)
Since Toppin's exile to the bench for a couple of games around Christmas, he has come back on fire as conference play began. Toppin has 68 DraftKings points against Louisville and LSU over the last two games since rejoining the starting lineup. This is what we expected to see from Toppin after his strong start to the season. I'll ride him until he cools off.
Tyreek Smith, Oklahoma State ($4,400)
Moussa Cisse is likely to miss this game, which will mean more minutes for Smith. He played 27 minutes against West Virginia with Cisse leaving the last game, which is roughly double his season average. That likely won't mean doubling his DraftKings points against a team like Texas, but the extra minutes should have Smith flirting with 5x value.
Also consider: Armando Bacot, North Carolina ($9,900); Joel Soriano, St. John's ($9,500); Derrick Walker, Nebraska ($7,400); Noah Clowney, Alabama ($7,200); Leaky Black, North Carolina ($6,000); Quinten Post, Boston College ($5,700); Dariq Whitehead, Duke ($4,900)
