Is Aaron Rodgers Hurt Or Healthy?
The reigning NFL MVP has failed to equal his stellar 2021 production this year. Rodgers hasn't thrown for over 300 yards in a single game this season. He stands as the overall fantasy QB15 in standard scoring.
The Packers' signal-caller has been dealing with multiple injury issues toward the end of the regular season. Rodgers has been battling through a thumb injury for a large portion of the season, but he also picked up a minor knee injury in Green Bay's Week 16 victory over the Miami Dolphins.
After suiting up for another win in Week 17 over the Minnesota Vikings, the veteran missed the Packers' Wednesday practice session this week. Rodgers returned to practice in full capacity on Thursday. His return to the practice field bodes well for his availability for the squad's Week 18 showdown with the Detroit Lions.
Fantasy Football Outlook For Aaron Rodgers In Week 18?
There's not much to see here, as Wednesday's absence appears to be a routine maintenance day off for the 39-year-old Green Bay quarterback.
Rodgers should be ready to roll in the regular-season finale against the Detroit Lions. It's a win-and-in scenario for the Packers, as they can clinch the NFC's final playoff spot with a victory over the division-rival Lions. Rodgers has failed to find big production in 2022, but he's in an enticing matchup against a Detroit defense that relinquished 291 passing yards to him in Week 9.
