Miami Dolphins quarterback Teddy Bridgewater picked up another injury in Week 17, and for fantasy managers in leagues that extend to Week 18, his game-day status will be important to securing a fantasy football title. Additionally, his availability will affect Miami's skill players in traditional fantasy leagues and DFS contests.
Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) has already been ruled out, so Bridgewater will be in line to start again if he's healthy enough to play.

Teddy Bridgewater Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Tests on Bridgewater's pinkie finger on his throwing hand showed that it was dislocated, but not broken, according to a source. His availability for the Week 18 contest against the New York Jets will come down to swelling and if he can grip the ball well enough to throw.
If Bridgewater isn't cleared, it will be rookie Skylar Thompson making his second career start against a tough defense. Miami also signed veteran Mike Glennon as insurance.
Should I Start Teddy Bridgewater If Active?
If Bridgewater plays in Week 18, he'll be a risky start against the fierce New York Jets defense. Even if Bridgewater suits up, he could be limited somewhat by his banged-up finger. Bridgewater is already known for struggling to push the ball downfield, so he'll have even less big-play upside in the final week of the regular season.
Fantasy managers in Superflex or two-QB leagues might be forced to start him, but just know there could be bust potential here. On the flip side, Miami's wide receiver duo of Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill can create chunk plays on short to intermediate passes, so there's a wide range of outcomes for Bridgewater.
If Skylar Thompson starts, Waddle is arguably bench-able depending on the other available option. However, Hill is a must-start no matter who is at quarterback.
