Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon recorded his first points since getting back to action, finishing Monday's 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights with a goal and an assist. He needed just 25 seconds at the start of the game to get a goal and MacKinnon's assist came in the middle of the third period on Mikko Rantanen's 25th goal of the campaign. The Avalanche superstar had a pretty bad return from injury on Saturday against Toronto when he finished a 6-2 loss with a minus-three rating and went scoreless, but it was only a matter of time before he found his way back to the score sheet. MacKinnon is one of the most productive offensive players in the league and has tallied 36 points across 25 outings this term.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
