Allen Lazard Leads Packers In Receiving During Blowout Win
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard caught 5-of-6 targets and gained 59 yards during the team's 41-17 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. None of the Packers' wide receivers were able to capitalize during the plus matchup against Minnesota due to how good the defense was playing. Green Bay threw the ball just only 27 times and completed only 17 passes, leading to no receiver having an outstanding performance as many hoped coming into the game. The 27-year-old led the team in all receiving categories but failed to reach double-digit points in Half-PPR formats. With Christian Watson finishing the game unscathed, he should be much closer to 100% next week against Detroit. Lazard could still lead the team in targets next week, but he should be considered a fringe FLEX option for those playing their fantasy football title game in Week 18.
