Aaron Jones Tallies 113 Yards In Week 17
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones took 14 carries for 111 yards and added an additional two yards on two receptions during the team's 41-17 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. Thanks to their defense, the Packers controlled this game, allowing them to run the ball much more than they threw it. The 28-year-old did not capitalize on the plus matchup through the air, but he did lead the team in rushing and had a decent fantasy performance. Things could have been much worse for those who started Jones since he came into the game at less than 100%, but this performance put the fear that he was going to be limited to rest. Green Bay has a crucial matchup against the Detroit Lions next week to keep their playoff hopes alive. For those who have their title game in Week 18, Jones will be viewed as a top-tier RB2 in that matchup.
