Giannis Antetokounmpo Will Not Play Against Wizards
2 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) has been downgraded to out against the Washington Wizards on Sunday. Antetokounmpo was questionable leading up to this one, but the Bucks ultimately decided to sit their star forward. This was not a back-to-back so it is a little concerning that Antetokounmpo is dealing with lingering knee soreness. He will likely have rest days more often than not for the remainder of the year. Bobby Portis will get the start and should be active with Jrue Holiday (illness) and Khris Middleton (knee) also ruled out.
