David Blough Not Recommended In Sixth Career Start
2 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback David Blough will be making his sixth career start in Week 17 against a lackluster Atlanta Falcons defense with Colt McCoy still dealing with concussion symptoms. Blough has not played at all in 2022 and will be making his first start since 2019, so even though the matchup is a good one, we don't expect much from him in real life or fantasy. The 27-year-old could also be without the team's No. 1 wideout in DeAndre Hopkins (knee), which would make his life more difficult as he tries to secure the team's fifth win over the season. He has only been with Arizona for around three weeks, but the Cardinals felt he deserved a start over Trace McSorley, who almost led the team to a win over the Buccaneers in Week 16. With fantasy titles on the line this weekend, managers should avoid Blough, even in two-QB leagues.
