Eric Saubert Set For Bigger Role Entering Week 17
2 years agoDenver Broncos tight end Eric Saubert should start and be the team's primary pass-catching tight end for the final two games of the season after the Broncos placed rookie Greg Dulcich (hamstring) on Injured Reserve on Friday. Behind Dulcich, Saubert has been the Broncos' second-leading tight end this year in catches (12), targets (21) and receiving yards (118) while scoring one touchdown in 15 games. He'll be facing a Kansas City Chiefs defense that has allowed the eighth-most half-PPR fantasy points to TEs in the last three weeks, but fantasy managers can't trust Saubert in Denver's lackluster offense. Fellow tight ends Eric Tomlinson and Albert Okwuegbunam could be more involved as well, and both receivers Jerry Jeudy (ankle) and Courtland Sutton should be quarterback Russell Wilson's favorite targets.
