Conference play begins in earnest as we close out the 2022 calendar year. Thank you to all of you college sports nuts who enjoy this DFS journey as much as I do. This wouldn't be possible without you! We have an 11-game monster main slate to get rid of 2022 in style! We tip off with a bunch of nooners today. We have Lousville at Rupp Arena, which is always a blast unless you have a dog in the fight. We have UConn in Cincinnati to take on Xavier. St. John's heads into the burbs to take on Seton Hall. Virginia is in Atlanta to take on the Wreck. We have Virginia Tech in Lawrence Joel to take on Wake. Texas Tech heads up to Fort Worth because SuperToad needs a massive football AND basketball game on the same day.
The afternoon starts off with Florida State heading up to Cameron Indoor to get crazy one last time in 2022. An hour later we have the basketball version of the Territorial Cup in Tempe. We have Marquette in Philly to take on Villanova. We have Oklahoma State in Phog Allen. Baylor heads up to Ames. We close this out with Texas heading up to Norman. This is a fantastic slate!

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards
Matthew Cleveland, Florida State ($8,000)
It doesn't even matter who is out for the Seminoles anymore. Cleveland has become the most important piece of the offense. He has three straight double-doubles and hasn't scored in single digits since November 25 against Stanford. There are a lot of high-priced guards, but I can't find one running hotter than Cleveland. There might be a couple that have more upside, but I prefer taking a sure 28+ from Cleveland. He hasn't been below that mark in the month of December.
Kevin McCullar, Kansas ($7,600)
The Texas Tech transfer has dominated on both ends of the floor this month. McCullar has scored at least 39 DraftKings points in all four games that he has played in December. I expect him to finish the best month of his collegiate career with a bang. Oklahoma State likes to ugly up games, but not many teams can ugly up Kansas. Only Tennessee has succeeded in doing so thus far.
Kihei Clark, Virginia ($6,800)
Clark is one of the most consistent fantasy players in the college game, which makes him a very popular cash play. Clark has between 24 and 33 DraftKings points in each of the last eight games. You know exactly what you are getting for the price, which is an underrated aspect in GPP lineups...especially when Clark is still hitting close to 5x value.
Milos Uzan, Oklahoma ($4,400)
Uzan has averaged 22.6 DraftKings points per game in his four games as a starter and his price hasn't budged. Uzan is a solid producer. He's not going to put up huge numbers anytime soon, but I'll take 5-6x value any time when the takedown scores are right around 5x value most nights.
Also consider: Caleb Daniels, Villanova ($7,700); Desmond Cambridge, Arizona State ($7,300); Caleb Mills, Florida State ($6,800); Pelle Larsson, Arizona ($6,200); Miles Kelly, Georgia Tech ($5,800); Dale Bonner, Baylor ($4,600); Darius Maddox, Virginia Tech ($4,100); Montez Mathis, St John's ($3,500)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards
Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky ($10,200)
Tshiebwe played all 40 minutes in the loss to Missouri and racked up another 50(.75) DraftKings points. If the game stays close, which it should, Tshiebwe is in line for another big-time score. The 19 rebounds against Missouri were a season-high. Tshiebwe is just getting warmed up!
Daniel Batcho, Texas Tech ($8,300)
Batcho has been remarkably consistent this year. This isn't your older brother's Texas Tech team. These guys get up and down the floor while still playing good defense. Batcho has at least 28 DraftKings points in every game but the Texas Southern game in which he only played 16 minutes. He's about as automatic as you can get with a college player. He and Kihei Clark are my cash anchors.
Mark Mitchell, Duke ($5,400)
It has been all-or-nothing for Mitchell lately, which makes him tough to run in cash games. However, he has scored 14 or more points in three of the last four games, so I think he's starting to find his stride. The Seminoles are not a strong team up front, so Mitchell should find plenty of good looks from the field. He's very efficient when he gets shots, so this could be a nice outing for Mitchell.
Tre King, Iowa State ($3,200)
With Kunc out, there should be a few more shots to go around for the Iowa state bigs. King made the most of his first opportunity of the 2022 season with 17 DraftKings points in just 16 minutes against Western Michigan. King was ineligible for the first ten games of the season, but it appears as though all systems are go for the transfer from Eastern Kentucky now. Enjoy the price while it's this low. It won't be for long!
Also consider: Joel Soriano, St. John's ($9,200); Oumar Ballo, Arizona ($8,900); David Jones, St. John's ($8,000); KC Ndefo, Seton Hall ($7,100); Jalen Bridges, Baylor ($5,500); Josh Ojianwuna, Baylor ($4,000)
