Jaylen Waddle Remains Strong WR2 Option
2 years agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle should continue to be started in most fantasy leagues. Although the Dolphins enter Week 17 sans Tua Tagovailoa, Waddle remains a must-start as he takes on the New England Patriots. Playing quarterback for Miami will be Teddy Bridgewater, who took the majority of offensive snaps in Weeks 4 and 6. Waddle totaled a solid eight catches for 168 yards between those two weeks. It's evident that Bridgewater can continue to support Miami's weapons in the passing game. Waddle's value is also boosted by the fact that New England will be without two top cornerbacks, Jack Jones (knee) and Marcus Jones (concussion), on Sunday. Furthermore, Jonathan Jones (chest) and Jalen Mills (groin) are questionable. The last time Waddle faced the Patriots, he dropped five catches, 69 yards, and one touchdown on them. Managers should have faith that Waddle can continue to provide significant numbers in the fantasy football championship. Start him as a WR2 once again.
