2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Gardner Minshew will face the New Orleans Saints in Week 17. While there were whispers of starting quarterback Jalen Hurts (shoulder) suiting up for this game, the team has officially listed him as doubtful, leading to another start for the 26-year-old backup. Last week against Dallas, Minshew threw for 355 yards, scored three total touchdowns, and turned the ball over three times. He finished as the QB5 overall in Week 16 and will face a less intimidating New Orleans pass defense this week. The Saints are ranked middle of the pack in terms of fantasy points allowed to the quarterback position this season, and the Eagles will not only be playing for the No. 1 seed in the NFC but also have a chance to make the draft pick that they acquired from the Saints even better.
