DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football (12/30/22)

Sieh Bangura - CFB DFS Picks, Daily College Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Draft Rookie Sleepers

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Friday (12/30/22). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

This is the largest college football slate left this season! We have five games today starting at the crack of noon, so get those lineups in early! There's a lot to unpack here and still some sneaky-good games to get after, so let's get to it!

We start off in Charlotte with the Duke's Mayo Bowl between Maryland and North Carolina State. We pop the top off the afternoon with the Sun Bowl from El Paso between Pitt and UCLA. Next, we head to Jacksonville for the Gator Bowl between Notre Dame and South Carolina. Next, we head to the desert with the Barstool Sports Bowl from Tucson between Ohio and Wyoming. We close this out in a sea of orange in a game that finally lives up to its name with the Orange Bowl from Miami between Clemson and Tennessee. This is a great one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/30/22, locking at noon Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Cade Klubnik, Clemson ($6,900)

I'm not enamored with any of the pay-up options, but I could probably be talked into Spencer Rattler. However, I still think Klubnik is by far the best point-per-dollar option on the entire slate. Tennessee's defense has been chewed up all season. That's not going to change now. Just peep Klubnik's stat line from his first Clemson start: 20-24 for 279 yards and a touchdown passing and rushing. Did I mention that was in a conference championship game? What could have been for Clemson if they had made the right decision to go to Klubnik a couple of weeks ago? He's about to give Dabo's boys a huge wave to ride heading into 2023.

Ben Finley, North Carolina State ($5,500)

Finley isn't going to wow you, but he did a good job leading the Pack in the last two games of the season. Even against a Louisville defense that has flustered just about every ACC quarterback this year, Finley held his own. The ceiling is probably 20 DraftKings points, but I will take that for the price. Where else are you going to get better without the floor being the depths of Hell?

Also consider: Taulia Tagovailoa, Maryland ($7,800); Tyler Buchner, Notre Dame ($5,900); Nick Patti/Nate Yarnell, Pittsburgh (whoever starts)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Sieh Bangura, Ohio ($7,300)

Bangura has been bottled up more with Kurtis Rourke out because teams are keying on him. They aren't that worried about CJ Harris. Harris should be more comfortable in this game, so I see Bangura still putting up good numbers. Even though teams keyed in on him, Bangura still scored a couple of touchdowns to save his value in the last two games. He's a safe option due to the guaranteed workload and could have a nice ceiling if Harris is more comfortable in the offense in the month of practice before the bowl game.

Rodney Hammond, Pittsburgh ($5,700)

There are an awful lot of open carries with Israel Abanikanda forgoing this game for the NFL Draft. Hammond was a strong backup all season long. Now we get to see what he can do as the feature back. I'm not sure Pitt will feed him 30 carries a game like they did with Izzy, but he should still see 20 or so. Notre Dame transfer C'Bo Flemister and Vincent Davis are also options with Flemister a very intriguing value play at just $3,600.

Also consider: Zach Charbonnet, UCLA ($8,600); Logan Diggs, Notre Dame ($5,400); D.Q. James, Wyoming ($4,600)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Jared Wayne, Pittsburgh ($7,000)

I trust Pitt's two backups more than I trusted Kedon Slovis. They still have a whole slew of running backs, but there is a better-than-average chance that UCLA gets out to a big lead. If that happens, Pitt will have to throw more than they want. We saw Wayne cap off the season with a monster against Miami. UCLA has holes in their defense as well. I like the floor on Wayne because of the targets he should see, but he has enough potential for GPP usage as well.

Antwane Wells, South Carolina ($6,300)

South Carolina lit up both Clemson and Tennessee. Wells was a huge reason why. Wells caught 20 passes for 308 yards and a pair of touchdowns and also scored on his only rushing attempt. If the Gamecocks are going to pull another upset, it will be Rattler and Wells leading the way. You could argue that this Notre Dame defense is the best they have faced, and you may be right. However, I trust the South Carolina D to hold up their end of the bargain here and give the offense plenty of chances to win.

Deion Colzie, Notre Dame ($4,200)

Michael Mayer is sitting out to prep for the NFL Draft, so that leaves Colzie as the top receiver out there for the Irish. He had a nice game against USC when the Trojans took Mayer out of the game, so he should be the first option in the passing game. Of course, if you are feeling really frisky in a GPP, you can go with Mitchell Evans, the immediate replacement for Mayer, at minimum price.

Also consider: Bru McCoy, Tennessee ($6,500); Rakim Jarrett, Maryland ($5,900); Ramel Keyton, Tennessee ($4,900); Davis Allen, Clemson ($4,400)
