Tony Pollard A Game-Time Decision For Thursday Night
Tony Pollard (thigh) is a game-time decision for Thursday's game against the Tennessee Titans. Due to a thigh injury, the 25-year-old is listed as questionable for Thursday Night Football. He will test out his injured thigh during pregame warmups and will have to prove his health to avoid being inactive. This season, the former fourth-round pick has been excellent in a one-two-punch combination with Ezekiel Elliott. Pollard has rushed for 988 yards and nine touchdowns while catching 39 passes for 371 yards and three scores over 15 games in 2022. Elliott is expected to receive most of the carries and remains a must-start, while Malik Davis could receive additional touches if Pollard is ruled out for Week 17.

Tony Pollard Goes For 62 Yards Against Texans
Tony Pollard carried the ball 22 times for 62 yards in Sunday's 23-14 loss to the Texans. With Tyjae Spears (concussion) not suiting up for the contest, it was natural that Pollard got a large bulk of the attempts. Yet, he managed just 2.8 yards per carry and could not find the end zone. Overall, 2024 wasn't a bad year for Tennessee's lead back–tallying 1,079 yards on the ground, five touchdowns, and 238 yards receiving on 41 catches. He should still be heading the backfield for the Titans next season. However, 23-year-old Spears did show some promise in the last couple of weeks, and it will have to be seen what kind of involvement he gets in the offense come 2025. Pollard is shaping up to be a mid-round pick for the next round of fantasy drafts.

Tony Pollard Officially Active Against Texans
Tony Pollard (ankle) is officially active on Sunday in the Week 18 regular-season finale against the division-rival Houston Texans. After practicing on a limited basis all week, Pollard will return for the final game of the season after he sat out the Week 17 loss to the division-rival Jacksonville Jaguars. Tyjae Spears (concussion) was ruled out, so Pollard could see a near full workload in his return as the Titans close out a disappointing season. The 27-year-old can earn an extra $250,000 if he racks up 83 rushing yards on the year for 1,100 yards on the season. If he scores twice on Sunday, he'd earn an extra $200,000, so Pollard could be busy and has plenty at stake for fantasy managers debating on whether to throw him into their starting lineups. He has clear RB2 upside for Week 18.

Tony Pollard Likely Good To Go Against Houston
Tony Pollard (ankle) is anticipated to suit up on Sunday against the Texans. Pollard has been dealing with an ankle injury for a few weeks. However, it finally kept him off the field for the Week 17 loss to the Jags. Tyjae Spears (concussion) for the start in that one. Unfortunately, Spears suffered a concussion and won't suit up in Week 18. With Pollard expected back in the mix, Julius Chestnut, who had three attempts for 17 yards versus Jacksonville, likely won't see as much action, severely restricting his fantasy potential. But Pollard's outlook isn't as favorable either, with the Texans defense allowing only eight touchdowns to opposing backs this season, one of the best marks in the National Football League.

Tony Pollard A Game-Time Decision For Week 18
Tony Pollard (ankle) is considered a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans. Pollard could not suit up last weekend due to an illness and this same ankle injury. During the week, Pollard was only able to practice in a limited capacity. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status throughout the weekend in case he faces a setback. With Tyjae Spears (concussion) not practicing with a concussion, Julius Chestnut could be the lone option in the backfield if Pollard can not turn the corner. Last weekend, Chestnut tallied 17 yards on three attempts. If Pollard can play, he should be viewed as a low-end RB2 in all formats, facing a Texans defense that has allowed the sixth-fewest PPR points to opposing running backs this season.
