2 years agoLas Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr has been benched. The Raiders will start Jarrett Stidham Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. Las Vegas entered the year with high expectations. Unfortunately, they've fallen extremely short of them. While their playoff chances are slim, the Raiders are mathematically still in the mix for a wild card spot. Carr struggled last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, throwing three interceptions compared to only one touchdown. However, the veteran quarterback had three touchdown passes the week before in a win over the New England Patriots. Fantasy players have no reason to start Stidham this week against a tough San Francisco defense. Furthermore, fantasy players should consider sitting Davante Adams and Darren Waller this week.--Mike Fanelli
