No Structural Damage For Teagan Quitoriano
2 years agoHouston Texans rookie tight end Teagan Quitoriano (knee) avoided structural damage to his knee when he was injured in the Week 16 win over the Tennessee Titans. He's dealing with a hyperextended knee and a bruised quadriceps after undergoing an MRI exam, according to league sources. Quitoriano is considered day-to-day heading into Week 17 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but with only two games remaining, the team could consider placing him on Injured Reserve for the second time this year. The fifth-rounder has proved to be a powerful blocker in his first NFL season, but he's also emerging as a complete tight end who is capable of contributing in the passing game. Quitoriano has four catches for 30 yards and two touchdowns on 10 targets in eight games in 2022.
