Robert Tonyan Catches One Pass In Week 16
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Robert Tonyan caught 1-of-2 targets and gained 13 yards during the team's 26-20 victory over the Miami Dolphins in Week 16. It is the second week in a row the 28-year-old has caught just one pass, and he was outdone by teammate Marcedes Lewis, who caught both of his targets for 32 yards and a score. Things were bad enough for Tonyan with all the key Packers' wide receivers healthy, but now he is losing targets to the 38-year-old backup. At this point, there is no reason to consider starting the sixth-year tight end in any format. He will be well off the streaming radar next week against the division-rival Minnesota Vikings.
