Aaron Jones Held Back By Ankle Injury In Week 17
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones took six carries for 25 yards and caught two passes for nine yards during the team's 26-20 victory over the Miami Dolphins in Week 16. The 28-year-old stated after the game that his ankle was "rolled up on" on the game's first carry, but he made himself available to the offense when they needed him. It is a disappointing outing for Jones, who had a chance to exploit a Miami defense that has struggled against pass-catching running backs. Since he played through the injury, there is a good chance he will suit up next week against Minnesota, but we will need to monitor practice reports throughout the week to know if he will be limited in any way. If Jones is good to go, he will be considered a fringe RB1 in Week 17.
