Indianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss has had a quiet 2022 season. The third-year player is the RB85 for the year, averaging only 2.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
He started the year with the Buffalo Bills, averaging only 3.4 rushing attempts per game. However, Moss got traded to the Colts as part of the Nyheim Hines deal.
The veteran running back had only seven rushing attempts in his first four games with his new team.

Should I Pickup And Start Zack Moss In Week 16?
Unfortunately, Jonathan Taylor suffered a season-ending ankle injury on the second play last week against the Minnesota Vikings. With the superstar running back done for the year, Moss and Deon Jackson will take over in the backfield.
While both running backs will have a role for the rest of the season, Moss is the better fantasy asset. Last week, he led the team with 24 rushing attempts for 81 yards. He also had the most running back snaps with 53.
This week the Colts face the Los Angeles Chargers. The AFC West team has surrendered 24.1 fantasy points per game to running backs this season, the fourth-most in the NFL. They have also given up at least 110 rushing yards to running backs in 10 of their past 12 games.
If Moss is on the waiver wire, fantasy players need to add him to their roster and start him this week. He is available in just under 60% of ESPN leagues.
What Other Running Backs Should I Consider?
If the Indianapolis running back isn’t available, fantasy players should add Jaylen Warren. The rookie running back is rostered in only 8.9% of ESPN leagues.
The Pittsburgh Steelers running back has played well lately. He has averaged 49.4 scrimmage yards and 7.2 fantasy points per game over his past five healthy games, scoring nine or more fantasy points in 60% of those contests. Furthermore, Warren had a season-high 11 rushing attempts, 11.4 fantasy points, and his first career touchdown against the Carolina Panthers last week.
Tomorrow night he faces the Las Vegas Raiders. They have surrendered 23.6 fantasy points per game to running backs this season, the fifth-most in the league. Furthermore, they have surrendered 16 touchdowns to the position this year, the third-most in the NFL. While he will split work with Najee Harris, Warren is a decent flex option for fantasy players in deeper leagues.
